Our Island is facing new pressures and anticipating rapid changes over the next decade. We are committed to tackling these challenges and shaping Hilton Head Island's preferred future.
The Town is currently engaged in four major planning initiatives. They include changes to the Land Management Ordinance, corridor improvements, district planning, and resilience planning.
To enhance community engagement across these initiatives and future projects, we have launched Community Connections, a comprehensive approach to community participation. This coordinated engagement process involved citizens, Town officials, and community leaders collaborating, sharing their insights, and building on recent relevant projects. This collaboration will provide a solid foundation for our future endeavors.
